כדורגל ותיקים: מרום הגליל אלופה, בניטה גם בפלייאוף

מרום הגליל זכתה באליפות היסטורית. בניטה עלתה לפלייאוף הארצי.

שבוע גדוש במשחקים בליגת הותיקים של מרכז הפועל. ביום שני האחרון הצליחה קבוצת מרום הגליל לזכות באליפות מחוז הגליל, לאחר שניצחה 3:5 את בניטה קרית שמונה – שביום חמישי האחרון ניצחה 1:5 את בני ממב”ע ותמשיך גם היא למשחקי הפלייאוף הארצי, אליו העפילו גם ותיקי פקיעין (מקום 2), ותיקי בית ג’אן (מקום 3), ותיקי מעלות (מקום 5) וותיקי מכבי בית ג’אן (מקום 6).

נתחיל עם פרגון לאלופה, שמודרכת ע”י אליאב מלכה – “ספורטאי החודש” שלנו, שהוא גם שחקן ומנהל קבוצת בניטה קרית שמונה, שמצא את עצמו בסיטואציה מורכבת במשחק זה, שבו היה ביציע מטעמי נייטרליות. בניטה עלתה  ליתרון 0:1 משער של שלומי אלימלך, אך צמד של רני ספ חולל מהפך והעניק למרום הגליל יתרון 1:2.  לקראת סיום המחצית הראשונה, נפסקה בעיטת פנדל לזכות בניטה, צח בוגטוס כבש והשווה ל-2:2. במחצית השניה, שחק דהאן העלה את מרום הגליל ליתרון 2:3, שלומי אלימלך השלים צמד וקבע 3:3. לאחר שער השוויון הופעל לחץ על השער של מרום הגליל בניסיון להכריע את המשחק, השוער אריק מלאכי ושחקני ההגנה עמדו באתר. צמד נוסף של מלך שערי הליגה, רני ספ, בסיומן של התקפות מתפרצות בדקות הסיום, הכריע את המשחק ונתן את האות לחגיגות עם ניצחון 3:5. זוהי האליפות ההיסטורית הראשונה של מרום הגליל, שתמשיך למשחקי הפלייאוף הארצי.

ביום חמישי האחרון בניטה קרית שמונה אירחה את בני ממב”ע עם תקוות לנצח ולהעפיל מהמקום הרביעי בטבלה למשחקי הפלייאוף. בניטה עמדה במשימה וניצחה 1:5 בזכות שערים שכבשו: שלומי אלימלך (2 בישולים), נתי גולני, חנן אלמקייס, אביתר הדרי וראובן אוחנה.
