דפנה: הבית הסעודי שב לפעילות

שנה וחצי לאחר שפונו דיירי הבית הסיעודי ‘בשבילנו’ מקיבוץ דפנה – חזרו כל הדיירים לבית

דיירי הבית הסיעודי ‘בשבילנו’ של ‘החברה לפיתוח הגליל’, פונו מקיבוץ דפנה המופגז עם תחילת המלחמה. הפינוי הליילי הצריך חשאיות, מעורבות של צוותי רפואה ומד”א שליוו באמבולנסים את הדיירים, שחלקם מוגבלים, עד ליעד. גם המטפלים והמטפלות של הדיירים נסעו איתם עד לבתים הסיעודיים שאירחו אותם בחיפה ונצרת. המעבר היה אמור להיות למקסימום חודש, וכידוע ארך מעל שנה.

נמרוד דורון-קינסברון מנהל הבתים הסיעודיים בשבילנו: “הפינוי היה קשה לכל תושבי הגליל. אך עבור דיירים קשישים ומוגבלים המעבר לסביבה אחרת, מבנים לא מוכרים ורחוק מהמשפחה, היה קשה שבעתיים, מבחינה פיזית ונפשית, והיינו צריכים ללוות את הדיירים ואת המשפחות לאורך החודשים הארוכים של המלחמה. כמו כן גם המטפלים שלנו הם תושבי הצפון, שנאלצו לנסוע נסיעות ארוכות בכל יום על מנת לטפל בדיירים. אני מודה למוסדות שאירחו אותנו, היום הוא יום חג ושמחה לכולנו עם חזרתנו הביתה, הבית מקושט בכרזות וכיבוד. לא פשוט היה להחזיר את הבית לרמה הגבוהה ואני שמח שהצלחנו. אני מקווה כי הממשלה תסייע לנו להתחזק, בכדי להמשיך ולטפל בקשישים שבנו את הגליל, ומאחל לכולנו בגליל שנשוב לשגשג ולפרוח”.
