דפנה: חניכי המכינה למען הכשרת הבית הסיעודי

חניכי המכינה הקד”צ גליל עליון “התלבשו” על הבית הסיעודי בקיבוץ דפנה, ניקו, מירקו, סידרו והכינו לקליטה מחודשת של דיירי ודיירות הבית

הגליל העליון בתהליך התארגנות לחזרת התושבים ליישובי קו העימות. חניכי המכינה הקדם צבאית בגליל עליון, התגייסו לטובת ניקוי יסודי של הבית הסיעודי ‘בשבילנו’ בדפנה, המוגדר קיבוץ מפונה.

את דיירי הבית הסיעודי פינו מיד עם תחילת המלחמה לבתים סיעודיים בנצרת וחיפה. זה היה מבצע מורכב מאוד, עקב גילם המתקדם של הדיירים ומאחר שחלקם מחוברים לחמצן ומכשור נוסף. הפינוי התבצע בחסות החשכה, כל הדיירים פונו יחדיו, והתלוו אליהם הרופא, האחיות והמטפלים, אשר המשיכו לטפל בהם לאורך שנת המלחמה.

נמרוד דורון-קינסברון מנהל ‘בשבילנו’ בתים סיעודיים של החברה לפיתוח הגליל: “חניכי מכינת הקד”צ בקיבוץ מעין ברוך, פונו אף הם עם תחילת המלחמה לקיבוץ אפיקים, והקימו חמ”ל שעסק בהפניית מתנדבים בסיוע לתושבים שפונו. מרגש היה לראות את רוח ההתנדבות של הנוער האיכותי, שעסק לאורך היום בעבודות ניקיון הבית הסיעודי, כך שהדיירים הקשישים, תושבי הגליל, יוכלו להגיע למבנה נקי ומסודר. הצעירים הללו הביאו רוח של תקווה ושמחה”.
